Do you offer FREE shipping?

Shop.Colorsonic offers FREE economy shipping on all orders within the contiguous United States. Currently, we do not offer shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, and we do not ship internationally.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Once your order is placed, it cannot be modified. Unfortunately, that means we'll be unable to make any changes as it's already being processed at our warehouse (literally within seconds). You'll need to place another order to add more items or process a return for any unwanted items.

When will my order be shipped?

All orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days (excludes weekends). Once the order is on its way, you'll get a notification along with the tracking #.

How do I start a return?

Please note that our policy is to only accept returns on unopened devices within 30 days of delivery date for a refund to your original payment method or store credit. For more details about our return policy, feel free to visit our Returns Policy.

What is your return policy?

Due to hygiene related concerns, we can only accept returns on select items:

Device: We accept returns on unopened devices within 30-days of purchase, as long as the seal on the inner box is intact.

Cartridge: Cartridges cannot be returned. If you are unhappy with your purchase please see our 30-day money back guarantee policy to file a claim.

Warranty: Colorsonic will honor warranty related claims within 1 year of purchasing. If you’ve found an issue with your device, please call or text the L'Oréal Customer Care Center 1-833-856-7325

The device automatically turns off after 2 minutes!

I have long hair, how many cartridges do I need?

If you follow the recommended saturation linked below, you should only need 1 color cartridge to color your full head. If you have extremely long & thick hair, it’s not a bad idea to purchase 2 color cartridges for your first application.

Do I do an All-Over Color or Root Touch-up?

All over color: Use if you have never colored your hair, you want to lighten or darken 2 or more
levels, or you have not colored in 3 months or longer.

Root touch-up: use if you color every 4-6 weeks with this shade or similar shade, or if you're in
between colorings to cover unwanted grays.

I have highlights or balayage, can I still use Colorsonic?

It depends on your highlights & the type of color application you want to do.

Root Touch-up: Yes, you can always touch-up your roots. The beauty of Colorsonic is you precisely apply
color to your roots without the formula touching your highlights or balayage.

All-Over Color: You can, but it depends on the shade of your base color & the contrast of your
